Türkiye denies its willingness to send peacekeepers in Ukraine


The Turkish presidential president has denied the information that Ankara is willing to send Turkish forces to Ukraine, and expressed its willingness to a diplomatic mediation in resolving the conflict.

“We have no information on that, and no official statements have been issued on this issue,” the Turkish presidential statement said.


He added: “We have a permanent preparation to support diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.”

Earlier, Bloomberg News reported, quoting informed sources, that Turkey is open to the idea of ​​sending its forces to Ukraine as part of the so -called “peacekeeping mission” after the end of the armed conflict.
