Fadlallah continued: “Foreign embassies have communicated with personalities in order to prevent them from participating in the funeral.”

He pointed out that it is “a convergence of weather and security against people with the aim of preventing them from participating in the funeral,” noting that “the number of participants in the funeral reflects the love of people and their sincerity and adherence to the resisting approach.”

He added: “The participants in the funeral are the audience of resistance from all sects and regions.”

He considered that “we did not mean to send political, organizational and popular messages from the funeral, but all of this was fulfilled for the two great martyrs.”
