Trump: America is close to concluding a metal deal with Ukraine

US President Donald Trump announced today, Saturday, that the United States has come close to reaching an agreement with Kiev on revenue from Ukrainian minerals as part of efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

“I think we are very close to reaching an agreement,” Trump added to a gathering of the conservative in National Harbor, Maryland, on the outskirts of Washington.

He added that the United States wants to restore the billions of dollars that Washington provided to Ukraine in the form of military aid during its war to repel the Russian invasion. He said that Washington is asking rare minerals, oil, or “anything we can get.”
