Al -Absi: For dialogue between national components

The Patriarch of Antioch and the rest of the Mashreq of the Roman Roman Catholics, Youssef Al -Absi, received at the Patriarchate headquarters in Rabwah a delegation of “renewal of the homeland” headed by Charles Arbid, which included members of the executive body and others from the lawyer committee and a number of retired deans.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al -Absi expressed his satisfaction with the path of affairs in Lebanon, starting with the election of General Joseph Aoun as President of the Republic to the formation of the government headed by Judge Nawaf Salam. In turn, Arabid’s presentation of the activities carried out by “renewal for the homeland” and the “role that establishes it for more solidarity and national unity, and his intention to hold his third conference in April next to revolve around decentralization due to its importance in developing regions and in community participation.”

On the other hand, Arbid stressed, “The importance of the presence of the royal Catholic Roman community, which has long been and still is the bridge of the transit between the components of Lebanon in national life and its permanent contribution to the upcoming and prosperity of Lebanon.”

Among the visitors of Al -Absi are Dr. Antoine Maalouf, Major General Elias Shamia, Professor Ibrahim Traboulsi, President of the “Lapura” Father Tony Khadra and the official of the “Aoun Al -Church in a narrow” in the Middle East, Mariel Boutros.
