Future scenarios in the presence of Trump .. Where are Gaza heading?

Surprises follow the displacement proposal offered by former US President Donald Trump, who takes over the United States to manage the Gaza Strip after the war ended.

While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Trump’s plan as a “plan for the next day of the war”, the statements sparked widespread controversy and fears of reshaping the area map.

Trump’s statements came in the context of his insistence that “by the end of the war, the Palestinians will have been resettled in safer societies,” which opened the door to questions about whether this plan was a prelude to a new scenario in the region, which may include forced displacement of the residents of the sector.

According to Trump, “Israel will hand over Gaza to the United States, which will start a global reconstruction project, without the need for American soldiers on the ground.”

But the director of the Palestinian Media Corporation “Vimid”, Ibrahim Al -Madhoun, sees in these proposals a great danger, not only on the Palestinians, but also on the entire region.

In his speech to Sky News Arabia, he says that “Trump’s statements are not just words, but rather reflecting an American vision aimed at reshaping Gaza in accordance with American and Israeli interests. Talking about the reconstruction of international funding that may seem tempting, but it hides behind attempts to impose guardianship on the Strip,” he says in his speech to Sky News Arabia.

In the same context, the fat adds that the Palestinian issue is not only a Palestinian affair, but an Arab issue, and the Arab countries must move more effectively to confront these plans.

With the escalating talk about Trump’s plan, Israeli leaks emerged about the proposal to displace Gaza residents, as the Times of Israel revealed that Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz ordered the army to prepare a plan that allows the residents of the Strip to leave for countries that accept their reception, such as Spain, Ireland, Norway, and Canada.

In this context, Al -Madhoun pointed out that: “The idea of displacement of Palestinians is not new, but it is now more clearly and publicly presented. The Israeli and American occupation has a failure to achieve their goals, and the resistance is still steadfast, and this is what makes them search for alternative solutions, including forced displacement.

Al -Madhoun stresses that “the Israeli occupation will not be able to impose the displacement scenario as long as the Palestinians are united in its rejection,” stressing that: “There is no division between the Palestinian factions in rejecting the plan, even with internal differences in other cases.”

In light of the escalation of the controversy over the displacement plan, Arab countries announced their categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinians. However, Al -Madhoun believes that “Arab rejection should be accompanied by practical measures, and not only political statements.”

And he stresses that “there are tens of thousands of tents designated for Gaza, but they are still stuck in Jordan, which increases the suffering of the population,” calling for “an emergency Arab meeting to make decisive decisions in the face of these plans.”

In light of this complex scene, a major question arises: Will the United States and Israel succeed in imposing their vision for the future of Gaza, or will the Palestinian and Arab refusal fail the plan?

Al -Madhoun believes that “the Israeli occupation is unable to implement its plans without full American support, but it is yet to face great difficulties due to the Palestinian resistance and popular rejection.” (Sky News Arabia)
