Lebanon today »Independent representatives and blocs are active to form a parliamentary bloc in support of Aoun and the covenant

Muhammad Balout wrote in Al -Diyar: Since I took the chances of General Joseph Aoun to reach the Baabda Palace gradually, a media, political and representative group has been formed around him that intersects his support and support, but at the same time it does not constitute a homogeneous mass yet. The election of General Aoun has motivated some supporters and enthusiastic deputies to him, to think of the formation of a parliamentary bloc consistent with the department’s speech.

One of these deputies reveals contacts taking place away from the spotlight, to form a group or parliamentary gathering supporting the President of the Republic, whose primary goal is to support the covenant in all the upcoming steps and benefits, and to help him translate the department’s speech. It indicates that the contacts started a few weeks before the election of the president, and it continues with the aim of expanding and increasing the parliamentary balance directly supported by it. The deputy added that the research revolves around the framework of this gathering or the group. There are many ideas and suggestions, including the formation of a new parliamentary bloc in support of the President of the Republic, and embodies the spirit of the discourse of the oath away from the current political alignments, meaning that it is outside the framework of the opposition led by the Lebanese or the Shiite duo and its allies, and to play an influential and effective role in supporting the presidency site. The owners of this opinion believe that there is a need for a parliamentary parliamentary bloc with Aoun’s tendencies, and that communications include independent deputies and small blocs that are not calculated on this or that team.

There is another opinion that prefers its owners to be satisfied with permanent communication and coordination between the members of this gathering or the group in the issues and files that are raised, without reaching the stage of forming a parliamentary bloc with full specifications such as blocs or other blocs.

The owners of this opinion consider that the common denominator of this parliamentary group is the support of President Aoun and his directions in the basic issues and in the upcoming entitlements, but this does not mean their agreement or their agreement on regular issues or other laws discussed in the council.

Regarding direct communication with the President of the Republic in this regard, the parliamentary source says we have not discussed with President Aoun on this issue, and we communicated with his luxury is a natural communication like other deputies and political figures. What happened until now is the pursuit and the initiative to communicate between each other, just as his luxury has been keen since his election and before that as well, to distance himself from this issue, stressing that the President of the Republic is for everyone and at the same distance from everyone, and that his relationship with any parliamentary bloc or A political party is governed by work in the interest of the country and the trends of the covenant, which was reflected in the discourse of the section, which was welcomed by all Lebanese.

And between the formation of a new parliamentary bloc and the contentment of permanent communication and coordination between this parliamentary group, everyone’s opinion agrees on the importance of developing their contacts, to move to holding periodic or semi -periodic meetings between them in the next stage after the formation of the government, to unify the positions consistent with the president’s positions on entitlement, files and issues The basic.

The source reveals that this parliamentary gathering includes more than ten deputies from different sects. It is not excluded that communications include in a later stage, political and popular personalities and events, in an effort to form an electoral alliance in preparation for the parliamentary elections next year.
