A spokesman for the Commercial Development Committee of the Iranian Industry, Mines and Trade Organization, Ruhullah Latifi, revealed today, Tuesday, the size of his country’s exports to Saudi Arabia.

Regarding trade relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, Latifi explained that with the increase in political interactions between the two countries, bilateral trade relations also witnessed changes.
The Iranian official indicated that “58,971 tons were exported from Iran to Saudi Arabia, at a value of 23 million and 319 thousand and 448 dollars in the nine months of this year.”

He pointed to the growth of the volume of Iranian exports to the Kingdom by 178 % of weight, and 99 % of value, noting that “after a stop that took eight years in importing Iran from Saudi Arabia, in the stage of improving bilateral relations, the import of 15.5 tons of” Monopotel Ethar “was imported. (A type of chemical) worth 33,843 dollars to the country during the nine months of this year.

Rouhullah Latifi stressed that this level of trade exchange between Iran and the Kingdom is not appropriate The value is up to one billion dollars in principle, and $ 10 billion in joint trade in just a few years.
