Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Israel’s plans, as experts write and no one denies this, is to stay in Lebanese territory. Of course, the Syrian Golan Heights can now be considered with the arrival of US President Donald Trump, who had announced it in his first term as part of Israel, which can be considered a missing land as well, from the point of view of the Arab Israeli settlement.

He added in a speech to him during his participation in the Valdei Forum for Dialogue in Moscow that Egypt and Qatar played a fundamental role in reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, noting that the role of the new administration in the White House should not be forgotten.

The Russian minister indicated that we have received indications that there are problems that will arise with the second stage of the ceasefire, and perhaps these problems have already started, because the messages sent by the ruling circles in Israel, stating that they are not completely satisfied with the fulfillment of Hamas with their obligations in the first stage, and that they do not exclude Anything because of that.

The minister pointed out that Israel continues without the hesitation of its military operations in the West Bank.

He added that there are many reliable leaks indicating that Israel, which, in addition to expelling the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip includes full control of the West Bank of the Jordan River.

Regarding Syria, he said: It is necessary that we work in a very active and constructive manner in Syria, not in order to score geopolitical points, but rather from the future of the Syrian people and enhance the national dialogue, and for this it is important to unify the efforts of all external parties.
