The Turkish media quoted a statement issued by the Turkish presidency that 15 Palestinians will arrive in the country as part of the prisoner exchange deal between Israel and the Hamas movement.

According to the statement, in the first stage, 15 Palestinians will be transferred/hiding to Turkey, through Egypt through the Turkish Intelligence Service.


On February 2, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Information Office announced the arrival of a batch of deported prisoners to Cairo, as part of the first stage of the “Flood of the Liberal” deal.

They are expected to arrive today in Türkiye in conjunction with the visit of the Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel -Ati to Ankara.

It is scheduled that Abdel -Ati will meet his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan at the Turkish Foreign Ministry headquarters in Ankara.

The talks between the two ministers will include discussing all aspects of Turkish -Egyptian relations, in addition to preparing for a high -level strategic Cooperation Council meeting, to be held in 2026.
