We walk on the right path towards establishing a civilized health system

The sub -committee emanating from the joint and costly parliamentary committees held the proposal of the law to establish a comprehensive comprehensive health coverage system, a session before noon today, headed by Representative Bilal Abdullah, and the presence of the members.

After the session, Abdullah said: The sub -committee emanating from the joint committees in its session today completed the department related to the governance and management of the law details, and it remained to discuss resources and secure resources for this system, and at the same time the expected health cost that we hope will return Lebanon to the ranks of countries that respect dignity Human with his health coverage.

He continued: I think that this issue is my country outside the framework of political interactions, and we started with the support of all political references, especially President Nabih Berri, when he referred directly to the joint committees, and this proposal was presented by the democratic meeting. I thank colleagues in the sub -committee who help us in this matter, and all pharmaceutical bodies and bodies that conducted previous studies on this topic.

He added: Today, we listened to a detailed offer for the possibility of gathering resources for this system, and I want to preach without exaggeration, that we are walking on the right path towards establishing a civilized health system worthy of the Lebanese citizen, away from the resonant slogans from here and there. In my opinion, if we do not respect the Lebanese citizen against his right to his health, and with health care we are not doing anything, so this support from all political references must be continued with it and with the maximum speed.

He said: We discussed today, the expected materials for this system, and if we put very few fees compared to other countries on smoke products, we mean that we enter this system between 120 to 130 million dollars. We are discussing 11 drawings that may be resources for this system if the committee agrees to it and then the Parliament, such as smoke and spiritual drinks, energy drinks and others. There is a large package that we will discuss next week to know how much it costs and then enters into the joint committees, and I believe that what the sub -committee has done is important to rise to Lebanon with this file to the ranks of the countries that respect their citizens.
