In a press interview, Foreign Ministry spokesman Christophe Lomouan refused to comment directly whether Hezbollah should be involved in the next government, saying: We will issue our ruling upon the issuance of the government formation.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman repeatedly said we are fully confident in the ability of the new Lebanese Prime Minister and the new Lebanese President to form a government that enables Lebanon to restore its effectiveness.
