The Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Al -Hajj Hassan, launched the process of distributing the farmers ’card to the farmers registered in the Nabatiyeh Governorate, at a ceremony held in the city of Nabatieh, in the presence of the deputies: Hani Qubaisi, Nasser Jaber, Qasim Hashem and the representative of MP Muhammad Raad, in addition to actors and farmers.








The Minister of Agriculture gave a speech at the beginning of a greeting and pride in our people in the south, these heroes who made the grave sacrifices for the sake of the homeland, in defense of the land and the offer. The martyrs of the south who were martyred in defense of this country, have all the highest verses of appreciation. I also extend a great greeting to the Imam of the homeland, Imam Musa al -Sadr, who is closely monitoring our work and our national trends. A great greeting to President Nabih Berri, Speaker of the House of Representatives, who led wisely and keenness to the march of development and liberation, and has proven through his hardness and wisdom in facing historical challenges that he was and still is a source of our national stability and rooted on the ground. I also greet a special greeting to the president who carries the suffering and pain of the south in his heart as the entire country carries.

He added: Today, we are on this blessed occasion, and together we will launch the process of distributing the farmer card in Nabatieh Governorate, a step that comes within the framework of supporting the agricultural sector in Lebanon. This card is an essential tool for organizing the agricultural sector and enhances the ability of farmers to obtain the support they need to continue their work on the ground and improve their production. On this occasion, we also confirm that the damage to the damage to agricultural lands as a result of the Israeli aggression was launched strongly, with the aim of compensation for farmers in partnership with the international bodies operating in Lebanon.

He continued: The agricultural sector in Lebanon is the heart of the national economy. Despite the difficult economic challenges, this sector remains an essential source of decent living for thousands of Lebanese families. Under the current circumstances, agriculture remains a promising sector and is able to support the local economy and provide job opportunities in various Lebanese regions, especially in the south, in which agriculture plays a major role in supporting the local community. Over the past years, the Ministry of Agriculture has worked to develop the agricultural sector through a set of projects and initiatives aimed at improving productivity and crop quality. The Ministry also sought to enhance cooperation with international organizations and donor and local organizations to support farmers in various Lebanese regions. Today, we are on this blessed occasion, we are together to distribute the farmer card in Nabatieh Governorate, a step that comes within the framework of supporting the agricultural sector in Lebanon. This card is an essential tool for organizing the agricultural sector and enhances the ability of farmers to obtain the support they need to continue their work on the ground and improve their production.
