Kojanian was killed in a new episode in the series of the crimes of the displaced Syrians

The General Coordinator of the National Campaign to return the displaced Syrians, Maroun Al -Khouli, denounced the murder of Archimandrite Anania Kojanian.

He said in a statement: The hideous crime that claimed the lives of the Armenian Orthodox Bishop in Lebanon and which is charged with managing the sect affairs in Zahle and the Archimandrite of Anishania Kojanian, represents the summit of criminality and moral degradation, which is a new episode in the series of crimes committed by Syrian displaced people in Lebanon, which is threatening security And stability in the country.

He added: Investigations have proven that this crime is not an isolated incident, but rather comes after a series of crimes that witnessed several Lebanese regions, the last of which was two crimes within one week in the northern Matn district. This dangerous reality requires an urgent movement from the security services and the government to take an immediate and decisive decision to deport the Syrians, starting from the northern Matn region, as a protective security measure to protect the Lebanese from this criminal insecurity.

He continued: The continuation of the Lebanese authority in the policy of indifference to these crimes is an indirect collusion in endangering the security of citizens. Therefore, we warn the government and its security apparatus of the consequences of negligence or delay in taking the necessary measures, and we confirm that the Lebanese people will not accept that it be hostage to this organized violence that threatens its security and life, stressing that the immediate deportation of those who prove their involvement in destabilizing Lebanon’s security is a sovereign right and there is no discussion In it, which is a natural reaction to this outbreak.

Al -Khouli concluded the Lebanese state fully responsible for any new crime that falls as a result of the continuation of this security relaxation, and we confirm that the patience of the Lebanese has run out, and that any delay in deporting the perpetrators of crimes and those who pose a threat to the Lebanese national security will have unbearable consequences.
