Egypt is keen to obtain a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Ahmed Al -Ati said that Cairo is confident that Lebanon will rise and recover after the crises it has gone through, indicating that Lebanon will have always remained a center for culture, art and economic and financial activities.

The words of Abdel -Ati came after his meeting .

He continued: I conveyed a message from the Egyptian President to President Aoun and we are confident that President Aoun will lead the country towards the safe. We sent an official invitation from President Sisi to visit his second country, Egypt, as soon as possible.

He continued: We look forward to activating the Joint Supreme Committee as soon as the government is formed and discussed the Egyptian role in reconstruction in Lebanon and Egyptian companies in serving Lebanon to implement all the recovery projects.

He also said: We also discussed the importance of implementing Resolution 1701, and we stressed that Egypt is keen on obtaining a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, and we welcomed the deployment of the army in all of Lebanon and we hug that Egypt is ready to provide support to the army.

He added: Egypt emphasizes the obligation to adhere to the ceasefire agreement, and we have permanent contacts with Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib and France in this context.

On the government level, Abdel -Ati said: We support the efforts of President -designd Nawaf Salam to form a Lebanese government that does not exclude or exclude anyone and reflects all sectarian and religious diversity in Lebanon.
