Thanks to Cairo for its constant standing with Lebanon

Prime Minister Naguib Mikati, Egypt Foreign Minister Badr Abdel -Ati, received this afternoon in his office, in the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Alaa Musa.

During the meeting, the Egyptian minister conveyed to President Mikati the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi and Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly and their appreciation for the effort he made during his assumption of the prime minister.

The Egyptian minister hoped that the Lebanese government would be quickly formed to carry out the tasks required of them regarding the great challenges facing Lebanon and the region.

In turn, President Mikati expressed Egypt’s thanks for its permanent standing alongside Lebanon and its support for it in all fields.

He said: I am sure that the government will be quickly to carry out its tasks towards the great challenges.

The Prime Minister received the residing coordinator of the United Nations and the Humanitarian Coordinator in Lebanon, Imran Riza.
