The opposition encourages the president-designate: Let it be a caretaker government
Informed sources report that the opposition forces stressed, during their announced and unannounced meetings with Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam, the necessity of forming a government and not apologizing, regardless of the obstacles.
The sources indicate that the opposition is also encouraging the prime minister-designate to choose Shiite figures opposed to the party and technocrats to be part of his government and not wait for the approval of the duo.
The sources believe that the goal is to turn such a government into a caretaker government if it does not obtain confidence without any presence of the duo in it.
