Resuming flights to Damascus next week
Turkish Airlines will resume its flights to Damascus next week, after a hiatus that lasted more than a decade.
The company’s CEO, Bilal Ekshi, said in a post on the “X” platform, reported by “Russia Today,” “There will be 3 flights per week, starting from January 23.”
This comes after the visit of the new Syrian Foreign Minister, Asaad Al-Shaibani, to Türkiye, where he held talks with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other senior officials in the capital, Ankara.
