A minefield in front of Presidents Aoun and Salam!

Samir Skaf wrote in Al-Liwaa: Many difficulties could turn into mines on the path of the presidential duo, Aoun and Salam. Note that they are starting from great freedom of action at the level of presidential performance, with international support that will be evident in the upcoming international visits to Lebanon.

Among these mines are:
1- Implementing the ceasefire agreement and international resolutions 1701, up to Resolution 1559!
An implementation by the Israeli side, first, in terms of a complete withdrawal from southern Lebanon, and by Hezbollah, second, in the actual withdrawal of its fighters and weapons to the north of the Litani. After that, the battle to interpret the implementation of this agreement begins north of the Litani, and the battle for Hezbollah’s private corridor inside Beirut Airport.
2- Forming the next government between sectarian quotas and the “army, people and resistance” trilogy.
3- Persuading Hezbollah to give up its weapons. And dealing with potentially major, stressful demonstrations similar to March 14, if Hezbollah clings to weapons!
4- Return stolen deposits, looted funds, stolen national wealth and occupied commons.
5- Returning displaced Syrians to their country.
6- Achieving judicial independence and fighting corruption.
7- Disarm the Palestinians and all weapons loose in Lebanon.
With serious workshops, it requires “good” competencies, including: restoring economic activity and confidence to the Lebanese economy and to the Lebanese pound. Transiting Lebanon into a civil, non-sectarian, non-sectarian, decentralized state…
