Details of the murder of George Roukoz in Dbayeh… What did the security forces announce?

On 1/14/2025, an unidentified person entered a car sales showroom in the Dbayeh locality, and upon entering his office with the owner of the showroom called (J.R.), he opened fire on him, killing him instantly. Then he fled after stealing A Mercedes G Class car to an unknown destination.

After careful follow-up carried out by the new police command in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, they determined the identity of the perpetrator and his location in one of the southern towns, and his name is:

A. A. (Born in 2005, Lebanese)
As a result of extensive surveys and investigations, it was possible to determine his whereabouts in the southern suburb, where he was lured by the Southern Investigation Detachment in coordination with the Antelias Platoon and arrested in a precise ambush.

Upon being heard by the aforementioned platoon, he confessed to what was attributed to him, and that he hid the gun with the woman (Z. M., born in 2002, Lebanese).

Subsequently, and based on a signal from the competent judiciary, her place of residence was raided by the Al-Marija faction, and a search of her house found the pistol and clothes that were used in the crime. They were seized and the suspect was arrested. In coordination with the Information Division, the stolen car that was parked near her house was seized.

The investigation is continuing under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
