French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Wednesday that “the ceasefire agreement in Gaza must be respected.”
Macron called for “finding a political solution to this matter.”
He added in a post on his official account on the “X” website: “After unjustified suffering over 15 months, there is great relief for the people of Gaza and hope for the hostages and their families.”
He continued: “The hostages must be released and the people of Gaza must be saved.”
