Journalist Miguel Sanz confirmed in a report published by the Catalan newspaper “Sport” that the Italian club Juventus is close to ending its attempts to sign Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, after the Catalan club’s strict stance in the negotiations.

Reports indicated that Barcelona categorically rejected any offers less than 60 million euros, and confirmed that it would not agree to loan the player or enter into any negotiations for less than this amount, which made Juventus’ task of completing the deal almost impossible.

According to the report, Araujo’s future will remain linked to the Catalan club at least until the end of the current season.
