The “Shiite duo” plan to overthrow the covenant

Nakhla Adimi wrote in “Call of the Nation”:

What the “Shiite duo” did not say openly after the election of Joseph Aoun as President of the Republic, was said by the editorial of the “Jumhuri-e-Islami” newspaper in Tehran in its issue last Saturday, knowing that this newspaper is very close to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ali Khamenei.

The newspaper considered that “the region is facing painful facts that cannot be denied, the most important of which is: the election of General Joseph Aoun, who is considered a candidate supported by the United States of America and Saudi Arabia, for the presidency of the Lebanese Republic. This election does not only mean the dominance of Washington and Riyadh over Lebanon, but also indicates the influence of the Zionist regime at the highest levels of the Lebanese leadership,” according to the newspaper, which added: “Joseph Aoun received 99 votes after making pledges to the “party,” and it is unlikely that he will commit. With his pledges. The newspaper called for “admitting mistakes, with the possibility that the victories of the anti-Hezbollah coalition may be temporary, which provides an opportunity to direct effective strikes against this coalition.”

The Iranian green light was given to Hezbollah to break the covenant. In the information, a solid plan was drawn up to restore momentum and thwart Joseph Aoun, starting with closing in on the presidency of the government and working for the arrival of President Najib Mikati, whom the “Shiite duo” has tested over the years, and he is able to adapt to it, turn corners, and achieve some gains, and this is not possible with names chosen by the opposition. At its head is MP Fouad Makhzoumi.

The “party” is working to promote the existence of American-Saudi guarantees to keep Mikati in exchange for the election of Joseph Aoun. He is working to divide the Sunni representatives between MP Ashraf Rifi and Fouad Makhzoumi and make promises to the “Free Patriotic Movement” to support him in obtaining a significant ministry, provided that the “movement” names Mikati.

The “duo” also promised to facilitate the formation, in exchange for keeping Mikati until the parliamentary elections are held next year, at a time when Mikati’s visit to Syria came within the framework of facilitating his return to head the government, accompanied by Turkish support and satisfaction.

Hezbollah’s machines seek to mobilize the street that supports President Saad Hariri in order to create Sunni confusion that will diminish Makhzoumi’s fortunes. This is accompanied by the movement of Hariri symbols to attack Makhzoumi and media pressure that prevents the promotion, and the opening of old files and positions of Makhzoumi to damage his image and his relations with the opposition forces.

The “duo” also seeks to include the “Lebanese Forces” and the opposition, which will not name Mikati, in preparation for reducing their ministerial shares or embarrassing them and removing them.

Thus, by seizing control of the prime minister’s office, Hezbollah will begin implementing the second item of the plan by holding the keys to forming the government, and once again placing its hand on the Ministry of Finance, which it considers an essential key to maintaining its financial systems and its “good loan” structure, and to controlling the financial joints and placing the hand in control. Reconstruction funds, donations and foreign aid.

It also seeks to control customs, the presidency of the Supreme Council of Customs, and the centers concerned with it in “Beirut Port” and “Rafic Hariri International Airport.”

The third clause of the plan stipulates continued control over the judicial and military departments, and control over the military court and some public prosecutors, especially the government commissioner to the military court and public prosecutors in some governorates.

Within the plan, the “party” seeks to maintain influence in some security centers, specifically in the Intelligence Directorate, by breaking the custom established by Joseph Aoun in the army leadership, which requires the leadership to choose the heads of branches, so that the “party” will be able to nominate officers and intervene in military formations.

Hezbollah also seeks to control public institutions, through the Accounting Directorate in the Ministry of Finance.

Information from “Nidaa Al Watan” indicates that if the government was to be formed from non-partisans, then “Hezbollah” chose unknown cadres who are in fact partisans. There is someone who is part of Unit 900. This is an espionage unit concerned with spying on public administrations, and it manages a large number of government employees.

Will the “Shiite duo” be able to achieve their coup against the president and his swearing-in speech? What will be the American and Saudi reaction? In the end, it remains to wait for the results of the consultations and the formation of the government, then the pot will spill what is in it.
