Anger in Iran.. What is Hezbollah’s relationship?

The Israeli newspaper Maariv said that the amount of money that Iran pumped into Syria and into Hezbollah, along with the amount of losses it suffered with the fall of Assad and what happened in Lebanon, angers the Iranians.

The newspaper said that only $50 billion from 2000 until now was poured by the regime in Iran to Syria, and all of that evaporated into the air, and of course all the money to Lebanon, and to other places, which is what the researcher in the Iran program at the ANSS Institute described, Sabti said it was a failure of the system.

Sabati explained that the economic situation is very difficult, and of course this also angers the people and urges them to take action, as there are daily power outages, about 6 to 7 hours in Tehran and in the rest of the country, and of course in remote areas the situation is more difficult.

He added: Water outages also occur due to power outages, and air pollution is increasing, because there is a shortage of suitable gas to heat factories and homes.

He continued: Due to the difficulty of providing electricity and gas, the industry is largely idle, and the unemployment rate has increased from 23 percent to 35 percent. Although there are sporadic small labor protests, with each person demonstrating near their factory, these are not events that turn into large protests.

However, Sabti believes that this may be enough to disturb the regime, which recently conducted training to deal with mass protests, which means that the regime expects protests and revolutions and they realize that things are very fragile, according to the researcher.

He added: On the part of the regime, of course, they feel failure. On the one hand, they feel that the situation is very difficult. They threaten that they will take revenge on Israel. On the other hand, in the past two days, statements were published from one of the Iranian generals who said: We have failed.

He added that there was another Iranian person who said that currently we cannot take revenge on Israel.

Also, the researcher said that there is another matter that worries the regime, which is high inflation, and he added: The dollar rose from 460 – 480 thousand riyals to 820 thousand riyals. Also, imports depend on the price of the dollar, and the regime cannot ignore the exchange rate, and the Iranian people are sending a message that they are ready to bear a little more, but they hope to help weaken the regime and bring it down.

Sabeti continued: Events are gathering, it is a decisive year. The regime is making all kinds of threats that we will rush towards the nuclear bomb, but how will they rush towards the bomb? It is suicide. (Erm News)
