We heard from the ambassadors that they are serious about reconstruction

Regarding the beginning of the era and President Joseph Aoun’s ability to translate the oath of office speech into reality in the context of restoring state building, Representative Najat Aoun revealed in an interview with the electronic newspaper Al-Anbaa that what we heard as representatives from the ambassadors, who had the first hand in the communications that helped elect the president, is that they are serious. In rebuilding Lebanon, they are ready to cooperate with us as a country that wants to rebuild what was destroyed and put all their energies and capabilities at its disposal.

Aoun added: “This was their promise to us.” They told us frankly: Elect a president we trust, and we are by your side to help rebuild what was destroyed and work to revive state institutions. Based on these sincere promises, we have ended the stage of descent into hell and have begun to ascend to the top for a better Lebanon. This means that the process of rebuilding Lebanon began with the beginning of the new era.”

She also expressed her great optimism for the success of the covenant’s progress, and said: “It is enough for the President of the Republic to implement half of what he pledged to the Lebanese, and Lebanon will be well.”

Regarding the formation of the government, Aoun believed that the formation of the government may take place in the same way that was adopted in electing the president because there is no room to waste time based on the carrot and stick option, describing the situation in the areas destroyed by Israel as tragic, noting the inability of the de facto forces to remove the rubble. And repairing homes that were damaged and completely destroyed to date due to the delay in paying compensation due to the lack of sufficient funds to rebuild and remove the rubble.
