Unexploded ordnance at the site
The municipality of Tirdaba called on citizens not to go to the site of the raid carried out by the Israeli army, after coordination with Lebanese army intelligence. The municipality confirmed in a statement that the area contains unexploded ordnance, stressing that the Lebanese Army engineering teams will begin the work of removing these ordnance tomorrow, to preserve everyone’s safety.
For its part, the Israeli army claimed that it carried out a drone strike in southern Lebanon, after observing Hezbollah members loading a vehicle with weapons. The army explained that the aim of the raid was to target weapons on vehicles with the aim of removing the threat.
Later, the National Agency reported that 6 were killed and two people were injured in the enemy raid that targeted a car and a van east of the town of Tairdaba.
