Pezeshkian welcomed the election of a new president in Lebanon and stressed that unity will overcome Israel

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, sent a message of congratulations to General Joseph Aoun on the occasion of his election as the new President of Lebanon by a majority vote of the Lebanese Parliament, according to Tasnim Agency.

He stressed that “unity will defeat Israel,” according to what was stated in a statement published by the “IRNA” agency.

In the letter addressed to Joseph Aoun, who was elected by the Lebanese Parliament as President of the Republic, Pezeshkian said: “There is no doubt that strengthening stability and unity will lead to overcoming the greed of the Zionist enemy in the land of Lebanon.”
