The election of Joseph Aoun is an opportunity to save Lebanon and implement the constitution
Member of the “Strong Republic” bloc, MP Ghada Ayoub, considered that “the Lebanese Forces’ choice for the presidency was the sovereign and rescue option that it has always called for,” noting that there is a real opportunity for Lebanon through the election of a new president of the republic tomorrow, Thursday.
Ayoub said in an interview with “MTV”: “House of Representatives Speaker Nabih Berri must adopt a national stance, and whoever disrupted the country for two years is the same one who brought in foreigners to elect a president of the republic.”
She also stressed that “General Joseph Aoun’s mission after his election as president will be to save the country and implement the constitution.”
