Inside an isolated building… Assad’s officers are under house arrest in Moscow
The sources explained that the Russian authorities placed these former officials in an isolated building that was a headquarters for veterans on the outskirts of Moscow, and provided them with their food needs, without them being able to go out to engage in any activity outside the building, due to what they said was “their lack of residency in Russia.”
The sources, who are relatives of some of the officials who fled to Russia, stated that the Minister of Defense in the former regime, Ali Mahmoud Abbas, the Chief of Staff, Abdul Karim Mahmoud, the Chief of General Intelligence, Hossam Louqa, the Head of the National Security Office, Kifah Melhem, and the Commander of the 25th Division, Suhail. Al-Hassan, and other military and security officials, were all transferred to a building for veterans, allocated to them by the Russian authorities. (Erm News)
