The last one from the airport…a positive sign for the army

A former military source stopped at the army’s wise handling of various files, especially in terms of its deployment in southern Lebanon in implementation of Resolution 1701, or in terms of its dealings with the recent movements carried out by Hezbollah, the latest of which was in the vicinity of Rafik Hariri International Airport.

The source says that the army is working to avoid internal clashes, explaining that its leadership deals with popular movements with high commitment and discipline. He added: The basis today is to rally around the army, show solidarity with it, and block any attempts to confuse its role in light of the critical stage that Lebanon is going through.
