The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following report: On 12-24-2024, in the area of ​​El-Nene Roundabout, an unknown person set off an arson attack on a Christmas tree, causing part of it to burn.








He added: As a result of the surveys and investigations carried out by the competent units of the Internal Security Forces, the Information Division reached the suspicion of the involvement of two people in the process of burning the tree, namely:

– A. R. g. (Born in 1998, Lebanese) has a history of drug and alcohol abuse and causing problems.

-And. A. (Born in 2003, Lebanese).

Continued: On 12-30 and 12-31-2024, after careful monitoring and control, the division’s patrols were able to arrest them in the Bab al-Raml locality.

During their interrogation, the first admitted to burning the Christmas tree in El-Nene Roundabout upon the request of the second, who gave him a sum of money to buy fuel to complete his act. The second stated that he agreed with the first to burn the tree.

The legal requirements were carried out against them and the relevant reference was submitted based on the judicial reference.
