Salah receives an astronomical offer from a European giant

Press reports revealed that French club Paris Saint-Germain made an offer to sign Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool player, as his contract with his team expires at the end of the current season.

The Egyptian star has the right to negotiate with any club currently and move to it for free at the end of the current season, in light of his failure to reach an agreement with his club to renew his contract.

French journalist Romain Collet Godin reported that Paris Saint-Germain made an offer to contract with Salah for a period of three years, with an estimated weekly salary of 500,000 euros.

This news comes despite Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of the French club, denying allegations that his team was seeking to obtain Salah in a free transfer. He told Sky Sports in early December: This is not true. He is a wonderful and amazing player, but we never thought about him, to be honest.

Al-Khelaifi admitted that the French capital club will “explore opportunities” in January, if any potential deals emerge.

Salah receives a salary estimated at 350,000 pounds sterling, which is the highest salary in the history of the English club.

The Egyptian star is performing exceptionally well with his team this season, despite speculation about his future with the team, as he has scored 20 goals and made 17 assists in all competitions so far.
