Washington reveals a “written warning” ahead of the Moscow attack

The White House rejected Russia’s accusation that Ukraine was involved in the attack on the Crocus City concert hall near Moscow, describing it as “nonsense,” saying that it was clear that ISIS was “solely responsible.”

John Kirby, spokesman for the White House National Security Council, revealed that Washington had conveyed a written warning to Russian security services of an extremist attack, which was one of many warnings provided to Moscow in advance.

Kirby added: “It is abundantly clear that ISIS is solely responsible for the horrific attack in Moscow last week. In fact, the United States tried to help prevent this terrorist attack and the Kremlin knows this.”
