Officials told the New York Times that “representatives from Tehran and Washington intend to meet in the Sultanate of Oman on Saturday, to hold indiscriminate talks on Iran’s nuclear program.”

The newspaper quoted the officials as saying that “Tehran will be open to direct talks with the United States if indirect negotiations are going well.”
