Information about the mines of southern Lebanon .. numbers and facts that reveal their reality


Unfabstum landmines and unexploded ammunition in southern Lebanon constitute a deadly threat to civilians and an obstacle to the return of the displaced and reconstruction after the last Israeli war.

As the ceasefire is valid, the mines removal efforts have become more urgent, as the United Nations supports the Lebanese Center for Mine Control in southern Lebanon, while the mine deprivation, most of them are local Lebanese, works to purify the polluted areas to enable societies to agriculture, work and move safely.
