Gaza health workers are killed by the ongoing Israeli attacks

The UN Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) Philip Lazarini, on Monday, warned that health centers in the Gaza Strip are subjected to repeated attacks, and medical and basic supplies running out, under the continuous Israeli genocide.

This came in a statement published by UNRWA on its account via the X platform on the occasion of World Health Week, which runs between 7 and 13 April of each year.

Lazarini said that “the health sector workers in Gaza are killed or injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli attacks,” Lazarini said.

He highlighted that the health centers in the Gaza Strip are subject to repeated Israeli attacks, and the medical and basic supplies are running out.

He stressed that “while we must celebrate on the World Health Day with health and recovery, we mourn the loss of both in the Gaza Strip.” (Anatolia)
