Minister Haider meets the European Union ambassador to Lebanon


The Minister of Labor, Dr. Mohamed Haider, the European Union’s ambassador to Lebanon, received Sandra Du Wal, and the projects implemented by the Union were discussed, and the steps followed by the Ministry of Labor in order to achieve the cabinet’s orientation towards the e -government, and the ministry’s needs were discussed to complete this matter.

The European official expressed full cooperation with the Ministry of Labor. The conversation also touched on the work of the National Social Security Fund, especially with regard to the retirement system and the role of the ministry in expediting its implementation.

The two sides agreed to continue communication to achieve these goals.

Minister Haidar also received a delegation from the World Bank headed by regional executive director Fadia Saadeh, and the research was discussed in what the bank provides to Lebanon in order to help it out of its crises, and the conversation also dealt with how to help the ministry achieve multiple matters, including the retirement and social protection system, the National Social Security Fund, and the minimum wage in the public and private sectors, and it was agreed to meet a close meeting between the Minister’s Excellency and the World Bank team to provide all the assistance necessary For the Ministry to complete many projects.
