The Russian army controls a town in Sumi and targets Ukrainian facilities with accurate weapons


The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed yesterday, Sunday, that the forces of the Russian “North” group managed to control the town of “Basovka” in Sumi Province, and targeted the facilities of the Ukrainian military industrial complex with accurate, long -range weapons.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said, in a statement on Sunday, that its forces “continue to advance and repel an attempt to invade the Ukrainian forces of Russian territory in the Corsak Province.”
The ministry added that units of the forces of the Russian Northern Group managed to “liberate the town of Basovka in the province of Sumi, during the offensive operations.”

The statement continued: “The units of the Russian forces continued their offensive operations targeting the Ukrainian offensive brigades,” in several areas in Sumi Province.

The Russian defense indicated that “during the day, the Ukrainian forces lost more than 170 soldiers and two armored combat vehicles and 12 vehicles, in addition to 3 dots controlling drones and an ammunition depot.” (Sky News)
