Mufti Talib: Reforms are Lebanese priority

The Grand Mufti Al -Jaafari, Sheikh Ahmed Talib, saw that “Lebanon is not isolated in front of the torrent of continuous pressure on it from more than one side, especially the enemy’s pressure and daily attacks in addition to the American pressure to keep pace with it,” stressing that “the unity of the Lebanese position is the best weapon at this stage alongside the elements of other power.”

He pointed out in a statement that “the official Lebanese position that was evident before the visit of the American pollution and during it has its importance that should be completed in the subsequent stages because we are not immune to calls for Lebanese concessions in the coming periods, especially in light of the political and security repercussions around us in the whole region where things are unlikely that things will be stabilized in the foreseeable future in light of the continuous fluctuations in the region and more than Upper Egypt.

A student stressed, “The importance of the internal circumvention of the Lebanese official position, which was informed of the Americans and the failure to accelerate some to provide free papers at the expense of our unity and our cohesion of Lebanese, which may constitute an internal pressure opposite to the enemy to dismantle the Lebanese position and extract new papers at the expense of our national constants and our strategy in everything related to our national security, sovereignty and the strength of the situation by confronting the enemy.”

He also stressed that “work for reform and exit in the country from the tunnel of the stressful economic and social crisis should be among the internal priorities even if it is associated with an external desire,” noting that “this desire can be an assistant element and another opportunity in the true sense until the internal rescue march travels the desired distance as soon as possible, especially with Arab preparations, thankful to help and keep pace.”

He concluded: “We need an actual diamond to work on two lines: steadfastness in the face of the enemy and strengthening this with the elements of internal immunity, including the element of reforms that we hope that everyone will seek to pay its wheel due to the Lebanese need, which, when it meets external conditions, helps, so we can say welcome and easy to these conditions and know how to invest it to advance our country in light of the climates of stability that rests the whole region.”
