Western Sahara envoy in Algeria, before a international session

The Personal Envoy of the Secretary -General of the United Nations arrived in Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura, Algeria, on Sunday, before the international briefing that he is preparing for a special session on April 14.

He was received by Foreign Minister Ahmed Ataf.

The UN envoy recently made similar visits during which he contacted the two parties to the conflict, the Kingdom of Morocco and the Polisario Front, as well as Mauritania.
