On the work of lifting the backfilling and reconstruction .. This is what the President of the Southern Council revealed


The President of the South Council, Hashem Haider, toured this morning in the city of Tire and a number of villages of the judiciary, accompanied by the engineers in the South Council, Hassan Hani and Muhammad Bahr, to inspect the work of lifting the backfilling from the buildings that were destroyed by the recent Israeli aggression.









Haydar stressed in a statement, “The lifting work witnessed a delay due to some administrative obstacles, the most recent of which was the conduct of environmental examinations for the sites dedicated to the status of the folds, but these obstacles were humiliated, and the work has already began a short time ago.”

He added: “During this week, work will start in various Lebanese regions, especially in the south.”

He pointed out that “the assigned contractor has been granted a two -month deadline to finish the business quickly, in preparation for the start of the reconstruction phase”, expressing his hope to secure the necessary funding to enable the people to return to their villages.

He stressed that “the southern council teams that detect residential and non -residential buildings in the villages continue to work without interruption, especially in the villages on the front edge despite the risks and challenges.” He explained that “work is also underway to restore government buildings from schools and hospitals, in addition to meeting the urgent needs of the municipalities with the aim of facilitating the return of the people, even in a limited way.”

Haydar concluded by referring to a project under preparation that will be presented to a number of Arab countries, as part of a joint endeavor to support Lebanon in the reconstruction efforts.
