French Prime Minister Francois Bayro said on Saturday that the support of US President Donald Trump to the far -right leader Marine Le Pen and considering that it is under the campaign of persecution, as a “intervention” in his country’s affairs.

Bayro’s comments came in his response to a question during an interview with the newspaper “Le Parisien” about the support of Trump and the Kremlin and Hungary Prime Minister Victor Urban Lamin Luban, who ruled the French judiciary by not being eligible to run for the presidential elections.

Bayro stressed the necessity of “not confusing these three positions”, and denounced an international political discourse that exceeds “all borders.”

The French judiciary had condemned Le Pen on Monday on charges of embezzling public funds and preventing them from running for the elections for a period of five years, preventing it from running the prescribed presidential elections after two years. (Arabic)
