The reception of the candidates for the municipal and optional elections was launched in the Shouf Shield in Beit Al -Din, where 11 requests were registered for the Mukhtar Center and 4 members of municipal councils, pursuant to the directives of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Brigadier General Ahmed Al -Hajjar and the Governor of Mount Lebanon, Judge Muhammad Makkawi.

Al -Shouf District, Mrs. Marilyn Kahwaji, took regulatory and logistical measures to keep pace with a team of administrative employees and municipal employees to facilitate and accelerate the process of receiving the nomination requests to avoid crowding, as it is expected that the number of applications for nomination will exceed the center of a municipal member, chosen, and an optional member of the 3000 requests.
