Army Commander: The first enemy of Lebanon is the Israeli

The commander of the army, General Rudolph Haykal, stressed that “the army is the national national institution that protects the country with all its categories, and the military from various Lebanese regions in order to defend the homeland and preserve its security at home and throughout the borders.”

Heikal, during his insight into the leadership of the second land border regiment, and the “Qudaya Bitar” and “supervisors” centers affiliated with the regiment in the bottom area, and one of the units of the ninth infantry brigade in the Hermel region, considered that “the first enemy of Lebanon is the Israeli enemy that insists on the continuous violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and the security of its citizens.”

The officers and the military met and congratulated them on the occasion of the holidays, and reviewed the difficulties facing the units within the sector of their responsibility, praising the efforts of their elements to monitor and control the borders, which contributes directly to preserving Lebanon’s security and stability.

He went to them, saying: “You play your duty to the fullest thanks to the determination you are resolved, and you are fighting smuggling, and you play a positive role in the border region between Lebanon and Syria, in light of the continuous communication and coordination with the Syrian authorities.”

Haykal pointed to the ongoing work by the army leadership to enhance the capabilities of the military medicine, in order to provide the best possible health care for the military and their families.
