Israel has made its military operations on Lebanon, and expanded the targeting of the leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), and in the heart of the city of Sidon (the capital of southern Lebanon), days after Beirut’s southern suburb targeted.

In a new assassination, an Israeli path targeted, at dawn on Friday, the leader of the Izz al -Din al -Qassam Brigades – the armed wing of Hamas – Hassan Farhat, “Abu Yasser”, and his two sons, Hamza and Hanin, inside an apartment in the Al -Zuhur neighborhood, the most “overcrowded” in Sidon, and the raid in which two missiles used to bring out a large fire in the target apartment that extended to the homes of neighboring Population.

This is the second assassination, which Israel has been implemented inside Sidon since the ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Israel in November 2024, as it was assassinated on February 17, 2025, the leader of the Qassam Muhammad Shaheen by a plane driving at the northern entrance to the city.

As for the security level, Israel has carried out two raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut, the first with allegedly targeting a warehouse of the aircraft after the firing of missiles from southern Lebanon, and the second at dawn last Tuesday, when it targeted a leader in Hezbollah named Hassan Ali Badir, and this led to the death of 3 people and the injury of 7 others with varying wounds.

Political analyst Ibrahim Haider says that what is happening reflects a new stage that warns of serious possibilities that will leave its repercussions on the ceasefire agreement, whether in Lebanon or Gaza, where the occupation resumed its war, revealing its plan to displace the residents of the sector and destroy the remaining aspects of life in it.

Haider adds to Al -Jazeera Net that the Israeli attacks on March 28 that affected the southern suburbs of Beirut and the regions of the northern Litani line, then the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Badir from Nissan in the heart of the suburb, followed by the Saida operation, which confirms that Israel exceeded the ceasefire lines, especially as it bombed the suburb for the first time since the agreement entered into force on November 27, which constituted a qualitative shift in a path Escalation.

Israel – according to Haider – is seeking to impose a new reality by amending the ceasefire agreement by setting new conditions based on its own interpretations, benefiting from unannounced American guarantees, allowing it freedom to move to strike goals claiming to threaten its security.

Likewise, the continuous Israeli strikes and the accompanying violations that reflect the existence of a plan that has coverage from the American administration, aimed at increasing pressure on Lebanon and removing Hezbollah by stabilizing the occupation of the five points in the south, and keeping the border area that is not viable, and preventing any reconstruction before imposing its conditions that include a comprehensive agreement that allows Israel to continue to govern it and release its hand in Lebanon and the region.

Haider continues that this Israeli “motivation” not only targets Hezbollah and Hamas, but a candidate for more escalation, and has clear regional extensions, especially in Syria, as Israel is working to occupy strategic locations in southern Syria near the gates of Damascus, and linking them to Jabal Al -Sheikh to the Lebanese borders.

For his part, Palestinian researcher and politician Muhammad Abu Laila believes that “these assassinations reflect a strategic predicament experienced by the Zionist entity, which has become afraid of the shadows of resistance fighters outside the borders of Palestine, and represents a serious transgression of all red lines, and reflects the willingness of the occupation – with clear Western support – to violate the sovereignty of countries in order to implement its security agencies.”

Abu Laila stresses that the Palestinian resistance is not weakened by the martyrdom of its leaders, but rather it becomes more solid and cohesion, and believes that “the enemy thinks that the assassination of individuals may stop the resistance project, but the experience proves the opposite.
