The Central Governor is armed with the law: the response of deposits and the accountability of the perpetrators

He did this by sending messages in all the trends concerned with the campaigns against him or those who are skeptical of his policy and directions, clearly and strictly, which indicates the approach that will be adopted at the head of the rule in the next six years to keep pace with the era of President Joseph Aoun.

The new ruler affirmed his principles, in front of the senior employees of the Central Bank and Media, drawing what looks like a road map for his work and pledges he presented to public opinion, and through which he answered all concerns that worry people and the political and financial mediums, and abroad.

The first of these Muslims is that the central bank should not be the financier of the state, the second and perhaps the most important for depositors that private property and deposits are protected by the constitution and the laws in force, calling for working to return it gradually, and priority to payment to the small depositors and then to the owners of medium deposits and then the adults of them. He held responsibility for this for banks, the Bank of Lebanon and the state, in which the way to accuse him of holding a project to protect banks.

In this regard, he defined the features of his policy towards banks. While emphasizing the necessity of re -reviving the banking sector, he announced the commitment of the provisions of the constitution and the regulations that sponsor the central work of the central and its organized role, whether in the relationship with the state and its institutions or with banks, and stressed his refusal to have any suspicion in the relationship with it. Speaking of the response of the deposits, he was assured of re -drawing the banks to contribute to their share by increasing their plastics and introducing new money.

In this regard, he was firmly resolute in his message to banks that are unable to contribute or contribute to the process of returning deposits, as he said that it will be in front of integration with other banks or liquidation, and withdrawing licenses, pointing to the basic role of eliminating this matter for those who appear as a perpetrator. The bankers directly invited a radical change in performance.
In the letter abroad, its commitment was to eliminate the parallel economy, by strengthening the legitimate economy and combating money laundering and terrorist financing. This message comes on the eve of the arrival of the American envoy Morgan Ortagus to Beirut, and information revealed to “Al -Nahar” that she will have a meeting with the ruler, in a support message to appoint him and stand her country by his side.
