Applying international decisions the most important conditions for reconstruction

Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Youssef Raji said that there are conditions for reconstruction and aid in Lebanon, the most important of which is the application of international decisions.

Minister Raji added, in an interview with the “Lebanese Public Security” magazine, in its number 139, issued yesterday, Thursday, that “there are conditions for reconstruction and aid, but they are not political but national conditions, if you will, the most important of which is the application of international decisions in order to ensure peace and internal stability in Lebanon.”

He continued: «If peace and internal stability is not achieved, then the Arab and foreign investor and donor countries will not feel safe and will not provide any support, and they will not invest in Lebanon.
He said: “The Lebanese army is spreading in the south and is doing an excellent job, but Israel and the United States believe that this matter is not enough because the army operates in the south of the Litani River, while the international community talks about the north of Litani as well.”

Information from Washington reported, according to what the “homeland call” stated that the escalation of political and military turmoil in Lebanon is echo in the corridors of the American capital, which began to urge the Lebanese government and army to set a schedule for the disarmament of Hezbollah, a step that Washington considers decisive to Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability.
