Netanyahu visits the White House on Monday

The Axios network reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to visit the White House next Monday, on an official visit to discuss a number of sensitive regional files.

According to the sources, the discussions between Netanyahu and US officials will include major issues, most notably the Iranian nuclear program, the situation in the Gaza Strip, and customs duties between the two sides.

An Israeli official said that Netanyahu is seeking to reach an understanding with the American administration about the possibility of a military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities, in the event that the diplomatic path fails to curb Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.
