Interior intensifies preparations for the municipal elections

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Al -Hajjar, received in his office this afternoon, the Director General of Personal Status, with commissioning, Rodina Merheb, and heads of departments and employees in the Directorate, on the occasion of Eid Al -Fitr.

The occasion was an opportunity to talk about the ongoing preparations in the ministry for the municipal and optional elections that will start on the fourth of next May. During the meeting, Al -Hajjar discussed the importance of preparations to successfully complete the electoral process, and expressed the necessity of joining efforts at all levels to ensure the progress of the electoral process smoothly. He also urged the employees to make the utmost efforts and invest their administrative and technical capabilities, while increasing productivity to ensure the provision of distinguished services to citizens and meet their transactions in the Ministry’s departments.

For its part, Rodina Marheb confirmed that all the employees of the Directorate will work with high productivity and perseverance to ensure the success of the elections in the current stage and future stages.
