Disputed waste in Beirut … and a deputy appeals: diseases knock on the doors of the people

Representative Nabil Badr wrote through his account on the “X” platform: “The scene of the wasteful waste in the land of Jalloul, the round of Shatila, and the branches of Sabra is no longer just an environmental crisis, but rather a blatant insult to the dignity and health of people.”

He added: “The piles of garbage are increasing day by day, and the unpleasant smells and diseases touched the doors of the people, while the officials are silent and inaction, so has the minimum basic services become a luxury in this city that is negligent?!”

He demanded “an immediate and urgent move from the Beirut municipality, as this city and its streets are not a dump, but rather areas inhabited by human beings who deserve to live in dignity.”
