Beware of those who want Lebanon to offer free peace to Israel

The head of the Federation of Trade Unions and Users in Northern Lebanon, Captain Shadi El -Sayed, considered in a statement that “meeting the Israeli enemy with some situations and aspirations in it is some exaggeration because Israel, if it is already asking peace, normalization or otherwise, it requires it to be demolished, killed, destroyed, displaced and humiliated.” He said: “We are under the roof of the Lebanese demands and under the ceiling of presidential positions, the position of His Excellency the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun and the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nabih Berri, and each of them confirmed that Lebanon rejects Israeli actions and refuses to lure Lebanon to direct diplomatic negotiations, while Israel is required at the present time to international decision 1701.”

He added: “We stand at the limits of the Beirut Peace Initiative that took place in a full Arab meeting under the auspices of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him, and we adhere to the path that was set for negotiations that established the ceasefire in Lebanon, and other than these words or rushing and symbolism to some major countries are not in their place, so we must warn of those who want Lebanon to provide free peace to Israel and normalize the fire and destroy.”

He concluded: “We realize that peace is necessary, but we want a peace like that that the Arab initiative called for and enough. Let us stop at this point and the words of those who understand it.”
